Sunday Speaker: Mickey Belosi on the National Organization for Women

  • Liverpool Public Library 310 Tulip Street Liverpool, NY, 13088 United States (map)

As election day approaches once again, have you ever wondered what the National Organization for Women is? What the Central NY Chapter does? Or how to get involved?

Join us at our November meeting (a week early!) to learn all this and more!

Mickey Belosi is the current president of the Central New York Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW). NOW is the nation’s largest organization working to advance women’s rights and improve women’s lives.

New York State NOW aims to protect and promote reproductive justice, secure workplace equality, combat racism and homophobia, and end discrimination and violence against all women.  NOW New York represents thousands of women statewide.

The Central New York Chapter was started in 1967, and is one of the longest-standing chapters in the country.

After the meeting, anyone interested is welcome to join us for a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant.

**We plan to try to Zoom the meeting for those who are unable to join us : https://us02web.zoom.us/j/7630427646
