American Empathy Project: Hygiene Kits for Our Neighbors

  • Solvay Public Library 615 Woods Road Syracuse, NY, 13209 United States (map)

Join us on May 2nd to make hygiene kits for folks in our community who could use a hand! We received a grant from the American Humanist Association to purchase supplies to make the kits as part of their American Empathy Project, and we’ll get together to assemble toiletry and period kits.

We’ll have all the supplies needed, but if you’d like to donate to allow us to purchase even more supplies, you can do that here.

We will be in the Community Room on the bottom floor of the library. You can enter the room directly from the back parking lot.

We look forward to rolling up our sleeves and working with you to help those who can’t afford to buy basic necessities.

Please RSVP here: https://mobilize.us/s/67kxwy

Led by the American Humanist Association, the American Empathy Project has funded 101 service projects nationwide that will empower community members to combat our country’s crisis of cruelty. One day of action — one unified push to fight for empathy!
