Join us for an outing to a stop on the Auburn Freedom Trail!
We’ll have a tour of the Harriet Tubman home and barn, sold to her (illegally at the time) by Senator William Seward. It was from this site that Tubman launched her forays into the Eastern Shore of Maryland to help conduct slaves away from there to Canada on the Underground Railroad. Come learn a bit more about the woman that abolitionist John Brown called “General Tubman.”
Please arrive by 9:45 AM, the tour starts at 10 AM. $7.00 Adults (18-64) - $5.00 Seniors (65+) & College Students - $3.00 Youth (6-17 years)
EDITED: After we’re done at the park, we’ll get some lunch at Prison City North Street at 251 North Street, Auburn NY, 13021 (NOT the Brewpub at 28 State Street as previously planned!)
