2026 Adopt-A-Trail Day #1

  • Syracuse Creekwalk TBD (map)

Starting last year, we adopted a half mile of the Onondaga Creekwalk trail, from Onondaga Lake to Bear Street, the same area we clean up in the spring for OCRRA’s county-wide Earth Day cleanup.

This is a great way to get outside, make new friends, make Syracuse more beautiful and inviting, support the community, and be active! Everyone is welcome, including kids.

If you have a CNYHA t-shirt, wear it! If you don’t, we’ll give you one!

Where we will meet and what tools we will use will depend on what part of the trail the Syracuse Parks folks want us to work on. We will update this page once we know the plan, but if you RSVP to us at CNYHumanists@gmail.com, we will email you the information when we get it.

Come prepared for the weather, including a water bottle, suncreen, bug repellent, hat, etc. We plan to be out there rain or shine, as long as there’s no electrical storm! We suggest to wearing closed-toe shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Hope to see you out there!
