Like it or not, AI is here. It’s looming over virtually every aspect of our lives. It can write, make music, produce videos, solve mathematical problems, code, and perform a host of other tasks that have always been the domain of human beings. In this new age of AI, what is the role of the human being?

Welcome to the first in our Humanist Conversations Series, where we’ll get together to learn about and discuss important topics from a Humanist perspective (or perspectives)—or we may find that some topics don’t have a uniquely Humanist perspective.

Our first topic will be AI and Humanism. It’s a big topic, one that provokes a lot of thought (and feelings!). We’ll have a short presentation on the topic, and then discussion, coffee, and snacks. We hope you’ll join us!
