2026 Adopt-A-Trail Day #2

  • Solar Street Parking lot, Northwest Corner 400 Creekwalk Syracuse, NY, 13204 United States (map)

A few of us at our August trailwork day!

Starting last year, we adopted a half mile of the Onondaga Creekwalk trail, from Onondaga Lake to Bear Street, the same area we clean up in the spring for OCRRA’s county-wide Earth Day cleanup.

This is a great way to get outside, make new friends, make Syracuse more beautiful and inviting, support the community, and be active! Everyone is welcome, including kids.

If you have a CNYHA t-shirt, wear it! If you don’t, we’ll give you one!

We will meet in the Northwest corner of the Solar Street Parking Lot South of Destiny USA. If you put this address into Google, it should get you there: 400 Creekwalk, Syracuse, NY 13204.

Come prepared for the weather, including a water bottle, suncreen, bug repellent, hat, etc. We plan to be out there rain or shine, as long as there’s no electrical storm! We suggest to wearing closed-toe shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

The Syracuse Trails folks will supply us with tools and latex gloves. If you have sturdy work gloves, we recommend you bring them.

Hope to see you out there!
